Your volunteers

If you are managing a large number of helpers or volunteers you may be tempted to just keep them informed by email or text, but this probably keeps them out of the loop and doesn't empower them.

With SharePoint online (part of Office 365) you can bring them in to your organisation and let them participate at just the right level.

Planning your events

Planning an event is really all about communication, especially when your team consists of in-house and remote workers. Using SharePoint as an event planning and management tool means you can assign tasks, get updates and show the most up-to-date information at the right time.

Your Trustees

You may find that your trustees can become more involved if they have their own dedicated area and can also see your intranet. 

A trustee site can give them access to their documents and even an online forum or chat system to aid decision making. 

The site can also show details of the next trustee meeting as well as location and venue details.
