Getting the copy and photos ready for submission can take up more time than it should, the endless emails and "can you check this" and "please can you OK that" can really tie up your business.
I can produce a simple list which allows you to track the progress of the copy and the artwork, and get approvals in a timely manner. Each process can be assigned to a person and templated so you can kick off a new ad campaign knowing who is up to what and where the bottlenecks are in the process.

If you like to keep your clients or staff up to date with a newsletter, getting articles submitted and proofread can take more time than you would like.
The process can be streamlined by creating an action list which shows the status of each article and how much more needs to be done to get the newsletter ready, including who is doing what and when.
Web Content
Your website is constantly evolving and probably has an approval process before new pages are made live.
SharePoint can obviously provide you with the entire package, in a public facing website, but it's not uncommon to have another system (such as Squarespace) hosting your web content.
The process of getting copy approved and online can be done using the task engine side of your intranet so you can see who is doing what (or who needs chasing).
